In School Suspension
|
|
|
|
The primary function of In-School Suspension is to modify behaviors of the
student. A student is placed into In-School Suspension by the
Assistant Principal, Principal, or Administration according to the
Discipline Code. Students are given one-on-one instruction for
completion of all class work. They are also offered remediation in a
variety of subject areas.
The In-School Suspension teacher works with the other professional staff to
promote academic excellence, citizenship, self-worth and ethical judgment
for each student.
